See a book come to life at Elon’s Summer Movie Series themed “From Page to Screen,” featuring four movies based on books.
- Tuesday, June 6 - The Secret Life of Bees (PG-13)
- Wednesday, June 21 – Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who (G)
- Thursday, July 13 – Lyle, Lyle Crocodile (PG)
- Thursday, July 27 – The Devil Wears Prada (PG-13)
All movies will be shown in Turner Theatre at Elon University. Screenings are open to the community and are free to enter; no reservation is required. Free popcorn and movie snacks will be provided, and guests are welcome to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverage. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to each showing.
Free books will be available to children in attendance at the movie showings on Wednesday, June 21 and Thursday, July 13 on a first-come, first served basis.
The showing on Thursday, July 27 is co-sponsored by Elon University’s Women’s Forum employee resource group and requires an RSVP.
