Outstanding Volunteer Award

The Community Council of Alamance County, a United Way of Alamance County program, manages the Outstanding Volunteer Service Award.  Any individual, group, business, or organization whose volunteer activities in Alamance County benefit the local community in a substantial, important, and/or a unique way may be nominated. Nomination Forms are available below and due November 1, 2021.  A committee of volunteers then reviews all nominations and chooses their top five winners who are recognized at the Community Council meeting in December.

Courtesy of The LabCorp Charitable Foundation, a $1,000 donation will be made to a nonprofit of each of the winner's choosing. These 5 winners will then be sent to the state to be nominated for the Governor's Service Award.
