NC Works will host an open air job fair on Wednesday, Sept. 15.
The career center event will run from 1-3 p.m. at 2640 Columbine Lane, Burlington.
More than 20 area employers will be on site, including Alamance Foods, Amazon, Armacell, Fedex Ground, Glen Raven, GKN, McDonalds, TRC Staffing, Waffle House and others.
“This is an excellent opportunity to meet the hiring personnel at the companies,” Lisa Arnette with NC Works said. “(It’s) also a great opportunity for those individuals who were affected by the elimination of federal unemployment benefits.”
