BIO:
Mustafa Akben is an Assistant Professor of Management and Director of Artificial Intelligence Integration at Elon University, NC. His work focuses on how emerging AI technologies—particularly deep learning and generative AI—shape human cognition and behavior, and how institutions and organizations can thoughtfully integrate these advancements. By developing machine learning tools for social science research, assessing AI institutional preparedness, and exploring how AI reshapes organizational practices, he seeks to provide some insights that address the challenges of our rapidly evolving world—while also deepening our understanding of human nature in this new context.
