The Kernodle Center for Civic Life at Elon University is hiring an Assistant Director for Community Partnerships.
The Assistant Director provides leadership for campus-community partnerships and for supporting faculty in incorporating community engagement into academic classes in the Kernodle Center for Civic Life. This staff member is responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing partnerships with nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and schools that serve as host locations for community-based learning courses and student volunteer experiences. The Assistant Director is also responsible for working directly with faculty members to assist with including experiential learning opportunities in their academic courses. In this role, the staff member both facilitates individual consultations and coordinates an infrastructure to connect faculty with community partners.
