Hi Community Partners in Burlington,
We are assisting the U.S. Army/Department of Defense in hosting a Community Information Session about the current and future clean-up efforts at Western Electric. The goal of these session is for the Army to recruit local residents and stakeholders to apply for the Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) that will be helping guide future clean-up efforts. Applications will be onsite.
U.S. Army Environmental Command officials will hold a Public Open House and media availability June 27 at the Fairchild Community Center 827 South Graham Hopedale Rd. Burlington, NC 27217 regarding the remedial investigations occurring at 204 Graham-Hopedale Road Burlington NC 27217.
• 12 p.m. – 12:30 p.m. Media Availability
• 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Public Open House
• 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. BREAK (Open House site closed)
• 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Public Open House
