Administrative Assistant/Receptionist: 
The employee is responsible for greeting clients via telephone or in person and provides administrative support to the department and staff.  The employee performs general office work and various administrative support functions. The duties listed below illustrate the various types of work that may be performed.  The omission of specific statements regarding duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment in association with this position. High School diploma or possession of a certificate of equivalence of High School Achievement (GED).  Prefer at least two (2) years of training and progressive experience in reception, clerical work, the administrative field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have prior work experience in Section 8 and/or Public Housing and are bilingual.
Maintenance Mechanic II (skilled position): 
Responsible for skilled maintenance of buildings, facilities, grounds, and light equipment. Performs carpentry, electrical, plumbing, welding, and general repairs in response to service requests and results of inspections of units in accordance with Uniform Physical Conditions Standards (UPCS) or other HUD required standards. Performs maintenance on mechanical equipment or machinery. All maintenance tasks are performed as assigned in accordance with appropriate level of skill and/or experience. Work is generally completed independently and a great deal of independence in judgment in resolving problems in the act of repairing buildings and apartments is exercised. High school graduate (or GED) equivalent. Must have three (3) to four (4) years' practical experience (including supplemental training) in a related field or trade. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be substituted for the requirements above provided that the experience is sufficient to meet required knowledge and abilities.
Maintenance Laborer: 
Responsible for performing assigned unskilled manual labor tasks or semi-skilled janitorial or grounds services for the Agency, including office building, common areas, and turnover/make-ready cleaning functions for vacant units as assigned.  These tasks are to be performed at a level that supports the Agency's efforts to achieve the highest rating on HUD's evaluation systems.  The duties listed below illustrate the various types of work that may be performed.  The omission of specific statements regarding duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment in association with this position. High school graduate or GED desirable with preferably supplemented Vocational or Technical School training; one (1) to three (3) years' experience in building and grounds maintenance, building construction, or related; or a combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to the above.
Pre-Kinders Teacher Assistant: 
Responsible for assisting the Pre-Kinders Lead Teacher in the planning and implementing learning experiences that advance the intellectual, emotional, social and physical development of children within a safe, healthy learning environment.  These tasks are to be performed at a level that supports the Agency's efforts to achieve the highest rating on HUD's evaluation systems.  The duties listed below illustrate of the various types of work that may be performed.  The omission of specific statements regarding duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment in association with this position.  Two (2) years' experience in Early Childhood Development.  Bachelor's Degree preferred; however, any combination of experience, education or training that would likely provide the required knowledge is qualifying.
