The Alamance County Guardian ad Litem program is looking for volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children in court. Volunteers are trained and then assigned a child. They get to know the child, the family and all others associated with the child in order to recommend to the court what is in the child's best interest. Training classes are one night a week for six weeks for a total of 35 hours of training.
The next training class begins September 6, 2022. Applications for this class must be received by August 6, 2022. You can apply at www.volunteerforgal.org.
