Hello, Community Partners. We hope this email finds you well.
We invite you to join Alamance Partnership for Children and CrossRoads in recognizing Child Abuse Prevention (CAP) Month 2025. Together, we aim to raise awareness and protect children across Alamance County.
WHY A PINWHEEL GARDEN?
As our partners at Prevent Child Abuse NC explain:
“Pinwheel gardens represent our effort to focus on community activities that support families and public policies that prioritize prevention right from the start. Shining in the sun, the pinwheel reflects the bright future all children deserve and our belief that getting it right early is less costly than trying to fix it later.”
HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED BY JOINING US!
Pinwheel gardens are planted each year to raise awareness of this critical issue. For CAP 2025, our goal is to expand awareness across Alamance County, and we need your help!
✅ Sponsor and Host a Pinwheel Garden: For just a $30 donation, you can sponsor 40 pinwheels—40 symbols of hope for children who need it most and provide a space for a Pinwheel garden at your site.
We are offering two planting dates:
📅 April 10th | 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
📅 April 22nd | 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
