Habitat for Humanity of Alamance County is celebrating 35 years of building homes, communities, and hope with a birthday party Thursday, March 30th from 4-6pm at the affiliate office: 1176 N. Church Street, Burlington. This drop-in event will include the unveiling of the Habitat Timeline which includes the nearly 180 homes built since the organization started in 1988 as well as affiliate updates, a tour of the updated office and ReStore, and a chance to reflect on and celebrate all our community has built together.
There will be a chance to sign a stud and leave a blessing for a future Habitat home, snacks, and the opportunity to find out more about how you can plug in to serve and support Habitat Alamance for its next 35 years and beyond. The event is open to the public and all are welcome.
As the affiliate looks back on and celebrates all the ways our community has helped build hopes and dreams, one house at a time, the public is invited to share your favorite Habitat memory. You can submit the image, video, or story to info@habitatalamance.org or share it in-person on the 30th. The affiliate looks forward to sharing these memories throughout this 35th year.
