Friendship Adult Day Services, Inc. is a NC State Certified, Non Profit, Social Adult Day Program, providing daycare services, M-F, from 7am-5pm, in Burlington, NC, for adults, 18 and over, with mild to moderate physical/mental health disabilities, mental illness, Alzheimer’s disease/related dementias and other challenges of aging.
The Full-time, Salaried Exempt Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors. This person implements programs adopted in conjunction with the Board; appoints and leads staff; develops budgets; monitors revenues and expenditures; identifies revenue sources and writes grant proposals; plans marketing, fundraising and PR, implements MIS; and is responsive to all forms of diversity.
Qualification Must Haves: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a 4-year degree, preferably in a related field and have supervisory experience. Have good communication and networking skills. Pass a Physical, certifying that the employee has no illness or health condition that would pose a risk to others and that the employee can perform the duties assigned in the job, has a clean drug test and negative TB screening. Pass a Criminal Background Check. Complete CPR and First Aid Training and re-certification as required. Use of Microsoft Software. Have reliable transportation.
Experience in a Human Services field, preferably with the elderly and or/disabled, Accounting Practices, Grant Writing and Fundraising a plus.
Starting Salary $48.5k-$50k, based on experience, with chance for increase, based on performance, as the business grows into our new facility and funding increases. Benefits include 10 paid Holidays/year and 8 hours of Sick Leave and Vacation time earned each month. Expense Account. Holiday Bonus as funds permit.
