Burlington Police Department Asks For Community Input:
2021 Community Survey
A brief Community Survey has been designed to improve our strategies and actions over time and to continue to be genuinely responsive to the community we serve. The community survey is designed to gather feedback from our community regarding perceptions of safety and trust in the police force. The survey is short, and the results will greatly assist us in planning for the future.
"As the Burlington Police Department continues to collaborate with our community, we constantly seek input and advice. Our mission remains to build 'Trust Through Transparency.' I look forward to coming out and meeting our community members soon. Those meetings and this survey are a great opportunity for me to receive community feedback as I guide and direct our staff in protecting the people living and working in Burlington," said Chief Brian Long. Much of the Department's strategic plan and accreditation standards are informed by citizen feedback and help support the Burlington Police commitment to meet community demands, reduce crime, enhance professionalism, and build trust.
