Dr. Patrick Noltemeyer serves as Associate Vice President, Chief of Staff, and Secretary to the Board of Trustees at Elon University. A native of Louisville, Kentucky, he joined Elon's senior administration in 2019, where he works closely with President Connie Book to advance Boldly Elon, the university’s 10-year strategic plan, supports senior administration members, and serves as the university's chief liaison to the Board of Trustees. Promoted to Associate Vice President in 2023, Patrick brings extensive higher education experience from his previous roles at Centre College, where he worked in student life, civic engagement, institutional research, and strategic planning, helping secure endowment resources and developing comprehensive campus master plans. Patrick and his wife, Megan, stay busy outside of work with two active middle- and high-school age boys.
