Join Family Abuse Services of Alamance County for a free, in-person Domestic Violence 101 training on Saturday, September 12, from 8:30 AM–5:00 PM at our office, located at 1950 Martin St., Burlington, NC 27217.
During this full-day training, participants will gain a deeper understanding of domestic violence, including the dynamics and impact of abuse, barriers survivors may face, and how we as individuals and as a community can respond. You’ll also learn more about Family Abuse Services, the resources we offer, and how to connect survivors with support.
You don’t have to be an expert to make a difference. Learning about domestic violence is one way we can stand alongside survivors. By increasing our understanding, we can help create a community where survivors feel believed, supported, and connected to resources.
Whether you're a community member, potential volunteer, or simply interested in learning more, we welcome you to attend! Come learn with us, ask questions, and leave with a better understanding of how you can help.
