Alamance County is proud to be participating in the NC Seniors Farmer's Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) this summer!
What is the program?
Eligible seniors (60+) will receive a book of vouchers worth $50 to spend with participating farmers from July 1, 2026 through September 30, 2026. Vouchers can be used at the Elon Farmer's Market and Farm Fresh in Graham.
Who Qualifies?
- Must be 60 years of age or older
- Must have an income of 185% or less of the 2026 Federal Poverty Level (in 2026: $2,461/month for a 1-person household; $3,337/month for a 2-person household).
How to Apply?
Potentially eligible seniors can sign up in one of two ways:
- Regular Application Hours at SAFE:
- When: Tuesdays and Thursdays | 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Where: SAFE Office, 5950 Hwy 87 S., Graham, NC 27253
- Special Market Registration Pop-Up (This Week)
