Join United Way of Alamance County for Community Council on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 12–1 PM at Impact Alamance.
At this month’s gathering, we’ll hear from Cone Health’s Congregational & Community Nursing Program (CCNP), which works to close healthcare gaps and advance health equity by bringing care directly into congregations and communities. Laura Emery will share how the program provides one-on-one support, connects individuals to medical care and essential resources, and helps people navigate the healthcare system with confidence.
Through health education, chronic disease prevention and management, screenings, vaccination clinics, and care coordination, the program promotes whole-person wellness—body, mind, and spirit—while reducing unnecessary ER visits and repeat hospital stays.
