Entrepreneurship for the Greater Good Student Presentations

During the Fall 2025 semester, Elon Students in the Entrepreneurship for the Greater Good course partnered with United Way of Alamance County to complete 5 separate housing-focused projects. The 5 projects were centered around: housing searches, eviction prevention, elevating voices, resource mapping, and consciousness raising. Join us on Tuesday, December 9 from 9:00-11:30am as the student teams present their work and then participate in discussions with the community about the things that they have learned.

  • 9:00 - 9:30am: Breakfast and Networking
  • 9:30 - 10:30am: Student Presentations
  • 10:30 - 11:30am: Team Meetings and Discussion

Location/Logistics

  • Building & Room Location: Sankey Hall, Room 308
  • Directions: Elon University
    • Parking Lot: 510 West Haggard St.
    • Classroom: 125 Dalton McMichael Drive
  • Logistic Notes: Please give yourself 5-10 minutes for walking time from your car to the classroom. The elevator is located at the center of the building and stairwells are on each of the sides, we will be meeting in the large conference room on the third floor.
  • Parking Passes: Please send Kristen Sutherland (ksutherland@uwalamance.org) the following information by Friday, December 5th in order to obtain a parking pass:
    • Driver's Name
    • Car Make/Model
    • License Plate Number and State
