The Women’s Resource Center in Alamance County invites the community to celebrate 35 years of empowering women at our Open House and International Women’s Day Celebration on March 6 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Since 1991, the Women’s Resource Center has supported women through life transitions, workforce development, personal growth programs, and access to critical resources. This milestone event offers an opportunity to tour our space, meet staff and volunteers, connect with community partners, and learn more about the programs that help women achieve stability, self-sufficiency, and success.
We especially welcome the advocates, leaders, and changemakers who have worked for women’s rights and equality over the years to join us as we reflect on the progress made and the work still ahead.
This event is free and open to the public. Come celebrate the impact of 35 years and the collective commitment to ensuring that when women succeed, our entire community thrives.
