As a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in Public Health Education, I am passionate about improving the health and well-being of our community. For more than a decade, I have been honored to lead Hope for Alamance County Needs Ministry, a ministry dedicated to meeting the practical needs of individuals and families who are struggling.
One of my deepest passions is addressing the housing crisis in Alamance County. I believe that everyone deserves a safe, stable place to live and am committed to doing my part to make that a reality. My heart for service also extends globally, as I feel called to overseas ministry and supporting others beyond our local community.
In addition to my ministry work, I serve as a People & Culture Associate at JTI Liggett, where I focus on bringing in top talent, building a strong company culture, and helping teams thrive.
On a personal note, I’ve been married to my husband for 23 years, and we are blessed with three children, two bonus daughters, a wonderful daughter-in-law, and a precious granddaughter. I am an active member of The Summit Church, always ready to serve in any way I am needed.
My life’s mission is to serve with purpose and intention—helping one person at a time so they, in turn, can help someone else. I strive to live out my faith through both words and actions, using the gifts and talents God has given me to make a lasting impact in Alamance County and beyond.
