City of Burlington to host two City Budget Workshops
Burlington, NC – The City of Burlington will host two City Budget Workshops on Tuesday, November 10 at the Burlington Municipal Building and Thursday, November 12 at North Park. The Workshops aim to provide residents with a deeper understanding of what the City’s annual budget does and does not fund, why certain budget decisions are made, and how current budgetary constraints will shape the FY 2026-2027 budget. Participants will have an opportunity to offer informed input about what matters most to them regarding the city, the services it provides, and how it provides them.
The workshops will involve introductory presentations followed by active participation in small group settings. They will run approximately 90 minutes. Summary reports from the workshops will be provided to Burlington City Councilmembers and the City Staff’s budget team.
