United Way of Alamance County welcomes Elon grad, Sally Gordon

Sally Gordon has joined the United Way as the Community Impact Coordinator. Before starting her role at United Way, Sally participated in a post-undergraduate fellowship at the Alamance County Health Department. There she served as a Human Service Planner/Evaluator and worked on initiatives such as the opioid crisis, marketing the open enrollment period under the Affordable Care Act and organizing an Elon service learning course. She is also a graduate of the Leadership Institute.

She played an active role in writing the 2018 Community Health Assessment and is dedicated to her work in Alamance County. Sally has been a member of the Alamance Wellness Collaborative, Alamance Network for Inclusive Healthcare and the Health Department’s teen clinic initiative.

Sally was born in New Jersey and attended Elon University graduating with a degree in Public Health in 2018. She loves spending time outside whether it be going for a walk or reading a book on her front patio. Fall is her favorite season because of the cooler temperatures and colorful trees.

Please join us in welcoming Sally to United Way!  We are very excited to have her as part of our team working to make Alamance County a great place for all!
