Robin Wintringham

Housing Specialist

Robin Wintringham joined the United Way in April 2022 as a Housing Specialist.  Robin came to United Way with over 20 years experience with Habitat for Humanity of Alamance County and most recently received her juris doctor degree from Elon University School of Law. 

In this role, Robin serves as an ongoing liaison between housing partners, provides support when needed, and forges new partnerships to identify new models for creating quality, affordable housing opportunities.  Robin also strongly emphasizes education and advocacy to elected officials, landlords, and the broader community. 

Robin is a native of Chattanooga, TN, a graduate of both Duke University and Elon Law, a graduate of Leadership Alamance 2009, and a resident of Burlington.  Robin has two children, Chip and Jennifer Ann.  Chip is an athletic trainer at Queens University and Jennifer Ann is an M.D./resident in Virginia.  Robin enjoys travel, whether for service, education, or fun, and has lived in Switzerland as an exchange student, built houses in New Orleans, Dallas, Haiti, and Phoenix, and visited some of Ernest Hemingway's favorite haunts in Cuba.
