United Way of Alamance County is creating a stronger community where everyone has access to the building blocks for a good quality of life: Education, Health and Financial Stability. When communities are fully plugged into a grid of resources– including safe and affordable housing, good learning opportunities, healthy food, and physical and mental health services– we all thrive. United Way of Alamance County, by creating a reliable grid where everyone is equally plugged in, is ensuring opportunity for all.
We use the Alamance Community Assessment to set priorities for our focus on education, financial stability and health. We raise awareness of key issues, offer funding opportunities for local nonprofits, and promote policies that aim to strengthen outcomes. By bringing people and organizations together around innovative solutions, we make an impact.
