Temporary Volunteer Help Needed


The BDC is seeking a temporary volunteer or volunteers for office coverage and clerical duties from 10/20/17 to 11/1/17. Half of our two-person staff will be out during these dates, and a flexible volunteer is needed to cover duties such as:

-Answering phones and directing calls as necessary; taking messages

-Assisting the BDC’s Executive Director with printing, copying, and preparing for meetings

-Greeting guests and assisting with needs

-Checking BDC post office box and general email account and screening for important/urgent items

Ideally, the volunteer would be available 40 hours per week to cover the week and a half needed, but if more than one volunteer were available, different hours could be discussed. *Please pass along this opportunity to anyone that may be a student, retired, or otherwise have a lot of time during the needed hours.* This is a fun way to get to know the Burlington Downtown Corporation and “Get In” on the fun happening Downtown!
