Plant Pinwheels for Prevention
This April, join with other child-serving organizations in promoting healthy childhoods by planting a blue pinwheel garden at your home, business or non-profit.
Whether you plant one or plant 50, pinwheels remind us that childhoods are for playing, learning and growing. It is the responsibility of adults, not children, to keep children safe.
Celebrate the collaboration of Alamance County partners who are working to create safe, resilient childhoods by planting and enjoying pinwheel gardens. Pinwheels can be ordered from any number of on-line vendors, as well as Prevent Child Abuse NC. By planting a garden, you will be rewarded by their whimsy and lightheartedness. They remind us of the work we have done and the work we still have to do to keep our kids safe. This April, plant a pinwheel garden and watch the wind do its magic.
