Job Opening: Latino Outreach Coordinator


Position Title: Latino Outreach Coordinator                                                                                                            6/5/2019

Reports To: Director of Program Development
Classification: Non-Exempt
Salary Range: $35,000-$40,000


Family Abuse Services is seeking a full time Latino Outreach Coordinator.  Using the empowerment model, the applicant will provide direct services to Spanish-speaking victims of domestic violence including safety planning, assistance with domestic violence protective orders, providing clients with crisis counseling including domestic violence information and emotional support. Advocates will also provide information and referral services to victims of domestic violence. Latino Outreach Coordinator will create opportunities to do educational presentations to high risk and underserved populations. This position is grant funded, and 100% of time will be allocated to this grant’s activities.

Family Abuse Services of Alamance County, located within the Family Justice Center, is tasked with planning and coordinating domestic and intimate partner violence services and prevention education across Alamance County, North Carolina.
