Job Opening: Court Advocate at Family Abuse Services of Alamance County
Position Title: Court Advocate 8-7-2017
Reports To: Executive Director
Family Abuse Services is seeking a full time Court Advocate. Using the empowerment model, the applicant will provide direct services to victims of domestic violence including safety planning, assistance with domestic violence protective orders, attending civil and criminal court, providing clients with crisis counseling including domestic violence information and emotional support. Advocates will also provide information and referral services to victims of domestic violence.
Family Abuse Services of Alamance County, located within the Family Justice Center, is tasked with planning and coordinating domestic and intimate partner violence services and prevention education across Alamance County, North Carolina.
