It is also time to start thinking about volunteers for the Alamance County Volunteer Award. Nomination forms are available on the United Way website: www.uwalamance.org/get-involved/volunteer/. Again this year, winners will be honored with a $1000 donation made to the non-profit of their choice (courtesy of LabCorp). Nominations are due by Friday, November 8, 2019. Volunteers will be recognized at the Community Council meeting on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at noon at the Mebane Arts & Community Center.
