Bookkeeper/Office Manager opening at the Family Center

The Exchange Club’s Family Center of the Central Piedmont, a non-profit, child abuse prevention and treatment agency, is actively seeking a full time Bookkeeper/ Office Manager. The main responsibilities will include keeping financial records, preparing bills, managing human resources aspects of the agency, and delivering high-quality customer service. We’re looking for an individual with a keen eye for detail, strong math skills, and the ability to multi-task efficiently. The candidate should also be trustworthy and an excellent communicator. The position is full time with benefits. Qualifications are Bachelor’s Degree preferred and Associates Degree required, 2-4 years of experience or equivalent combination of years of experience with basic bookkeeping and financial transitions, non-profit accounting/bookkeeping, familiarity with financial regulations, human resources, office management, and/or business accounting. Experience with Microsoft Office, office machinery, Quick Books accounting software, ADP payroll or other payroll software, and general computer skills. Soft Skills required: attention to detail, organizational and multitasking abilities, reliability and strong work ethic, ability to work independently, and ability to solve complex financial problems under deadlines.
